'Review' (The Big Issue Scotland, 19/02/2009)
This will be the first Scottish solo show for France-born Brussels-based artist Jimmy Robert, who is fast establishing a name for himself across Europe – from the Berlin Biennale to the Cubitt Gallery in London – as a serious emerging talent. Grey Flannel Suits Any Man will see him showcase a series of two and three dimensional work incorporating found and personal photographs and sculptural and drawn elements, all addressing the “fragility of representation”. A unique performance” is planned for the opening night.
