Sorcha Dallas

Alex Frost’s new show is described as ‘sculptures and photo-realist drawings’. Actually it is just one large drawing and one sculpture, which is about all that can fit into Sorcha Dallas’s tiny new gallery. The more striking piece in Frost’s new show is Untitled (ear and coat). From a distance it looks like a large, primitive computer printout, close-up you see that it is a painstakingly rendered drawing, a kind of contemporary take on pointillist painting.
